If you are in the mood to eat authentic Chinese cuisine, Bambou restaurant should be your first stop. Located in the heart of the city, at SMCHS commercial lane, Bambou reels you in with its welcoming ambience and spacious dining place.

As you enter, you are received by a host/hostess, asking you politely about your dining requirements and then courteously taking you towards your table. You feel warmly welcome, well received and comfortably settled right off the bat.

Now comes the part where you look at the menu. From authentic Chinese cuisine with a variety of mouth-watering dishes accompanied by starters, refreshing salads & soups to sea food, mocktails & decadent desserts, you literally have a world of choices open before you.

If you end up ordering their dynamite prawns and honey spicy wings as starters and basil chicken and lotus fish for the main course, you are set for the next 2 hours you spend there. Their prawns are just the right amount of crispy and moist and very enjoyably chewy. While lotus fish leaves you wanting for more. The secret of their taste is the red sauce that’s served with the lotus fish.

In comparison to its counterparts, basil chicken’s thunder is somewhat stolen by honey spicy wings. Not everyone can handle basil’s overpowering flavour. But pair it up with honey spicy wings and you won’t even notice the slightly off flavour of basil chicken.

The servers there take personal interest in making sure you are well settled and have no complaints. They keep asking you at decent intervals to ensure you don’t need anything, while also making sure to allow the guests adequate privacy to enjoy their food.

If you are looking to have a romantic dinner with your spouse or plan to take your business partner to dinner, go for the private dining room. It’s less noisy, more spacious, and just the right amount of cosiness to give you a conducive environment to talk.

Aside from a private dinner, if you are planning a birthday party or an intimate official dinner for a small group of people, their private dining area can be booked in advance for the event.
